Here you now find information regarding the congress in Leiden. Leiden is an old university town from 1575, located 40 km from Schiphol International airport. Congress venue is the Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden,  located abut 10-15 minutes from the different hotels. All hotels to be booked through the congress bureau Excel.

ISAR Quality Improvement Resource Library

providing examples from registry web sites, annual reports and publications on:

  • Patient and Public Reporting: Patient leaflets/brochures; annual reports for the public; risk calculators; surgeon and hospital profiles showing implant use, mortality rates, volume of cases.
  • Implant and Manufacturer feedback: Feedback portal with regularly-updated data stream; price benchmarking; implant outlier reports; reports with all cases using a manufacturer’s implants showing mortality and revision
  • Surgeon and Hospital reports: Web-based clinician feedback; annual hospital reports; hospital risk-adjusted revision rates; annual outlier identification; revision rates, PROMS, and other outcomes compared to national
  • Registry Methodologies: Statistical process control, e.g. funnel plots, SPC charts; patient time incidence rate and revisions per 100 observed component years; CUSUM; Australia outlier methodology; survival analyses; cumulative revision rate by selected time periods; risk-adjustment.

4th International Congress of Arthroplasty Registries, May 23 - 25, 2015

Thank you all for participating in the meeting in Gothenburg. Hope to see you all next year.

The meeting was a joint venture between the Swedish Knee Arthroplasty Register and the Swedish Hip Arthroplasty Register.

To the meeting in Gothenburg 190 was registered and 186 participated. On Sunday afternoon attended another 23 persons the congress.

The latest ISAR general meeting was held in San Francisco, USA on February 9, 2012 at the Palace Hotel. Minutes from the meeting will be entered at the website later.
After the general meeting there was also a business meeting for ISAR members with election of the Steering Committee. The new Steering Committe you find under "Directory".
